The Real Minato Bay:

An Rpgmaker MZ / MZ3D recreational test run.

Game runs clunky, MZ3D also have pointer lock errors when deployed to mobile.

Lots of plugins available were either not very well made or doesn't work at all,
hence requiring alot of workarounds and modding.

Impossible to run on Firefox (FPS tanked to less than 10) / Safari (does not run at all).
The only browser that ran without issue is Chrome.

Final Verdict: Not Recommended.

I just tried it on Safari in 2025 and it worked lol. I was thinking of using MZ3D to craft my cutscenes but it seems further testing is required.

I like how it looks in your game but I don't know if I would like my game to look like that all the time. I do agree with you that it runs clunky but I really dislike the aesthetics of it all. But for cutscenes, it may not look bad at all.

Thank you for uploading this so I could test it out in a real gaming environment.

Using MZ3D for cutscenes is a brilliant idea as the plugin allows a broad range of camera angle controls you can play around for more lively char interaction. It's going to be messy though at the scripting panel or the common event.

I forgot to mention that if you're playing anything MZ3D on a rig that runs on Intel's IGPU the performance is markedly improved, including fps. Not sure if an AMD's SAM tech does the same thing.

Amazing...

Thank you.
